São Paulo FC manages player suspensions and new signings

São Paulo FC is managing squad changes and player availability ahead of its upcoming match against Santos. Forward Calleri will serve an automatic suspension after receiving his third yellow card of the season during a victory over Internacional. Calleri has been a significant absence in previous matches, including a decisive CONMEBOL Sudamericana fixture against Boca Juniors.

In player news, the club officially presented right-back Pedro Lima, who joins on loan from Wolverhampton. The 20-year-old revealed that a previous rejection by the club in 2018 led him to transition from a defensive midfielder to a right-back, eventually facilitating his current move.

Regarding training and medical updates, the squad has entered a FIFA international break period. While most players are resting, several athletes remain in the medical department, including Lucas Moura, who is recovering from Achilles tendon surgery. Other players currently undergoing treatment include Nicolas, Buta, and Newton, while defender Domingos Duarte is awaiting further exams for a knee injury.
