Iván Fresneda called to Spain squad to replace injured Pedro Porro

Spain national football team manager Luis de la Fuente has called up Sporting CP defender Iván Fresneda to replace Pedro Porro for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures. Porro, who plays for Tottenham Hotspur, sustained a muscular injury during a Premier League match against Aston Villa, forcing him to withdraw from international duty.

Fresneda, a 21-year-old who was originally selected for the Spain U-21 squad, will join the senior team at the Las Rozas training camp. The call-up follows the recent international retirement of Marcos Llorente, which had limited the team's depth at right-back.
