Pedro Porro linked to Barcelona amid injury recovery

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro as a primary target for the January transfer window. Flick aims to bolster Barcelona’s right flank with a player capable of providing width and overlapping runs to complement Lamine Yamal.

Separately, Porro is reportedly nearing an earlier-than-expected return from a hamstring injury. Rather than utilizing the Tottenham medical department, the Spanish international has been working with specialist fitness coaches in his home province of Extremadura, Spain. This proactive rehabilitation approach is expected to accelerate his recovery following his early exit from a recent match against Aston Villa.
