Pedro Porro linked with moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro is reportedly considering a return to Spain, sparking a transfer battle between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The 27-year-old Spanish international is said to be ‘increasingly convinced’ that his time in North London is nearing an end, as he seeks a move back to La Liga.

Barcelona is viewed as Porro’s preferred destination due to his attacking profile, which aligns with Hansi Flick’s tactical requirements. However, a move may depend on the Catalan club freeing up funds through the potential departures of players like Jules Koundé or Alejandro Balde.

Real Madrid is also monitoring the situation, potentially viewing Porro as an alternative if they remain unsatisfied with current options at right-back. While Porro is currently under contract with Tottenham until 2031, his desire to leave could prove decisive in negotiations. Tottenham remains in a strong position to demand a significant fee for the defender.
