Pedro Porro linked to FC Barcelona amid Tottenham struggles

Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro may reconsider his future at the club due to the team's poor start to the season. Although Porro recently signed a contract extension through 2031, his interest in staying could diminish if Tottenham continues to struggle at the bottom of the Premier League table and fails to compete in European competitions.

Reports suggest that FC Barcelona could be a potential destination for the 27-year-old Spaniard. Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown noted that while Porro is currently happy, a move back to Spain could become a real possibility if Barcelona shows interest. The situation may be further influenced by potential defensive changes at Barcelona, such as the possible departure of Jules Koundé, which could create a vacancy for a right-back.

Porro is currently managing a hamstring injury, with a return expected in late October.
