Pedro Rebelo's 'MIRA' installation opens in Santa Clara-a-Velha, Portugal

Artist Pedro Rebelo’s audiovisual installation “MIRA” will open at the Estação das Artes in Santa Clara‑a‑Velha (Sabóia), Odemira, on 1 August at 17:00. Public visiting hours are scheduled for 8 August and 15 August, from 18:30 to 23:00.

The work, part of the Águas Gémeas project, combines sound, video and ethnographic material to explore water, sustainability and territorial resilience in the local region. It offers an immersive experience that reflects on recent ecological transformations and the community’s relationship with water.

“​MIRA” is presented alongside other cultural programmes in the area, highlighting the blend of traditional and contemporary artistic approaches in Portugal’s cultural calendar.
