Pedro Scooby addresses legal dispute involving late father

Surfer and former reality TV star Pedro Scooby has addressed a legal dispute involving his late father, Alexandre Cosme Vianna. The case involves allegations of labor fraud brought by a former domestic worker, Josilene, who worked at a farm in Vassouras, Rio de Janeiro.

According to legal documents, Josilene claims she was used as a “laranja” (front) in a complex business fraud scheme. After suffering a stroke and attempting to access social security benefits from the INSS, she reportedly found her accounts blocked due to judicial seizures totaling over R$ 1 million in civil and labor debts linked to her name.

Pedro Scooby stated that he has been estranged from his father since the age of 15 and had no contact with him for 20 years until his death three years ago. He emphasized that he has officially renounced his inheritance, asserting that because he did not inherit any assets, he is not responsible for his father's outstanding debts or legal processes.
