Andalusian parliament in Spain sees political clash over governance and university funding

Ana Mestre was inaugurated as president of the Andalusian parliament when the session was interrupted by a protest from the governing PSOE. The party demanded a red card for opposition member Antonio Sanz, accusing him of provoking the opposition. The dispute highlighted broader tensions over the regional coalition with Vox, which the president Juanma Moreno said was not his preferred option after meeting the King.
