Mexican television host Pedro Sola appeared at the Yaakunah foundation in the Narvarte neighborhood of Mexico City, where he spent time with dozens of rescued dogs and made a monetary donation to the shelter. The visit came after a recent controversy sparked by his critical remarks about stray dogs on the program “Ventaneando”. Sola said he had never been surrounded by so many dogs and described the experience as “very emotional”, noting that the animals were friendly and calm.

Social‑media users reacted sharply: some praised the gesture as support for animal adoption, while others accused Sola of trying to repair his public image and labeled the act “double‑talk”. As of now, Sola has not responded to the criticism.
