Pedro Spadaro leads exit polls for Callao regional governorship

According to exit poll data from Datum Internacional for the 2026 regional and municipal elections, Pedro Spadaro of the Renovación Popular party is the virtual winner for the Regional Government of Callao with 55.7% of the vote. Spadaro plans to implement the ‘Plan Callao,’ which focuses on public security, infrastructure, health, and education. His security strategy includes leading the Regional Committee for Citizen Security and investing in the National Police of Peru through a criminalistics laboratory, new logistics equipment, and the installation of 3,000 surveillance cameras.

Renovación Popular also showed strong performance across various districts in the Callao province. César Pérez is the virtual winner for the Callao Provincial Municipality with 59.3%. Other leading candidates according to the exit polls include Fernando Llanos in Bellavista, Daniel Lecca in Carmen de la Legua, Giuliana Romero in La Perla, Renzo Figallo in La Punta, Katia Santamaría in Mi Perú, and Omar Marcos in Ventanilla. Official results are pending the final count by the ONPE.
