Pedro Suárez-Vértiz album celebrates 30 years

The iconic Peruvian rock album ‘Póntelo en la Lengua’ by Pedro Suárez-Vértiz is celebrating its 30th anniversary. To commemorate the milestone, a limited edition vinyl release will be made available, with pre-sales beginning on September 17. This marks the first time the album has been released in the vinyl format during the artist's solo career.

In addition to the physical release, a new audiovisual experience is being launched. Official visualizers for all 14 songs on the album will be released progressively, with the first three debuting on the anniversary date. The order of these releases was determined by the artist's followers.

Originally released in 1996, the album was a major commercial success, selling over 40,000 copies during an era of significant physical piracy. It featured hit singles such as ‘Los Globos del Cielo’, ‘Me Estoy Enamorando’, ‘Te Siento de Solo Pensar’, and ‘Mi Auto Era una Rana’. The track ‘Los Globos del Cielo’ was notably recognized by Billboard as one of the 25 timeless masterpieces of rock en español.
