Pedrola to host 15th Villa de Pedrola tapas contest

The municipality of Pedrola will host the 15th edition of the ‘Villa de Pedrola’ tapas contest as part of the 2026 Fiestas del Pilar. The competition is scheduled to take place on October 9, 10, and 11, 2026, with tasting hours set from 12:00 to 15:00.

Nine local establishments will participate, each presenting two different tapas priced at 3 euros per serving. The participating venues include Brasería Elena, Carpe Diem, Castillo Bonavía, Centro Social, El Nido, GA&VI’S, Las Vegas, Pabellón ’81, and Tú Mismo.

Winners will be determined through a popular vote. Participants can rate the tapas on a scale of 1 to 10 using voting brochures available at each establishment. In addition to selecting the three main prize winners, voters will be entered into a drawing for 100 euros to encourage support for local commerce. The final results will be announced on October 30.
