Peeragarhi interchange to link Delhi Metro Green and Magenta lines

A new Metro interchange is being developed at Peeragarhi to link the Delhi Metro’s Green and Magenta lines. This connection will facilitate easier travel for commuters in west Delhi neighborhoods, including Peeragarhi Village, Udyog Nagar, and Paschim Vihar.

The interchange is part of the Phase 4 expansion and will be situated between the existing Peeragarhi station on the Green Line and an upcoming station on the Magenta Line’s Krishna Park Extension-Deepali Chowk section. A 160-metre-long foot overbridge will connect the two elevated stations within the paid area, allowing passengers to transfer between lines without exiting the system.

According to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officials, approximately 90 per cent of the civil structure work is complete, with architectural finishing currently underway. The new section is expected to open for passengers by the end of this year.
