Pegadaian and Kadin Indonesia partner to expand gold-based financial services

PT Pegadaian (Persero) and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia) have entered into a strategic collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) titled “Kolaborasi Strategis Kadin dan Pegadaian untuk MengEMASkan Indonesia”. The agreement was signed in Jakarta by Kadin Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie and Pegadaian President Director Damar Latri Setiawan.

The partnership aims to expand access to gold-based financial products and services for various stakeholders, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), large corporations, and the general public. These services are intended to serve as tools for savings, investment, and stable alternative business financing.

Damar Latri Setiawan noted that the synergy leverages the extensive national reach of both institutions. Through the “Tring by Pegadaian” application, members of Kadin and the wider community can manage gold-related transactions conveniently and practically.
