Indonesia Gold Prices Rise Amid Global Spot Gold Decline

Indonesia’s Antam gold price increased by Rp 25,000 to Rp 2,799,000 per gram on 30 May, with the buy‑back rate rising to Rp 2,609,000 per gram. The same day, Pegadaian reported higher prices for UBS (Rp 2,834,000) and Galeri24 (Rp 2,772,000) per gram.

On 31 May, Pegadaian’s listings showed all three brands moving higher again: Antam at Rp 2,911,000, UBS at Rp 2,850,000 and Galeri24 at Rp 2,794,000 per gram. Detailed price tables for each gram‑size were published.

Internationally, spot gold fell 0.6 % to US$ 4,428.69 per ounce on 29 May after U.S. inflation data and lingering uncertainty over U.S.–Iran negotiations. U.S. gold futures slumped 0.5 % and related metals—silver, platinum and palladium—also dropped. Analysts noted the data could give the Federal Reserve pause on further rate hikes, but price volatility may continue.
