Pegadaian hosts gold literacy and digital investment fair in Makassar

PT Pegadaian (Persero) organized a two‑day Gold Literacy and Digital Investment Fair, titled “Tring By Pegadaian,” at Mall Panakkukang in Makassar on 25–26 July 2026. The event combined an UMKM exhibition, a gold bazaar, and financial‑education activities aimed at families and children for National Child Day.

Pegadaian showcased its new digital platform Tring! that allows users to monitor gold prices, open and top‑up a gold savings account, take gold‑backed loans, and access bullion‑bank services. The company highlighted that it operates Indonesia's first bullion bank, launched in February 2025 and inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto, offering gold deposits, financing, corporate custody, and retail trading.

Regional head Pratikno noted that the fair reflects Pegadaian’s commitment to strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises, raise gold‑investment literacy, and create an inclusive economic ecosystem for local communities.
