Pegadaian launches PANDE EMAS program to boost economic self‑reliance in Sulawesi and Maluku
PT Pegadaian’s regional office (Kanwil VI) for South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and Maluku officially launched the PANDE EMAS (Pemberdayaan Kelompok) program on 5 August 2026. The initiative, part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (TJSL), aims to strengthen the economic independence of coastal and rural communities through technical training, business mentoring, product development and management support.
The launch ceremony was attended by Pegadaian senior management, local government representatives, program partners and the beneficiary groups. Organisers say the program aligns with ESG principles and Sustainable Development Goals, targeting poverty reduction, decent‑job creation and narrowing social gaps in the region.
