Pegadaian wins Best Sukuk-SME award in Kuala Lumpur

PT Pegadaian (Persero) has received the ‘Best Sukuk – SME (Small and Medium Enterprise)’ award at The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2026 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The recognition follows the company's successful mobilization of capital through the issuance of dual-tranche Sukuk Mudharabah, totaling Rp1.75 trillion. Independent judges from The Asset magazine noted the strategic innovation of the move, which utilized capital market liquidity to support capital requirements and accelerate the growth of Indonesia's micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector.

According to the company, the dual-tranche scheme provided investment flexibility for investors while optimizing the company's cost of funds amidst global financial market dynamics. Ferdian Timur Satyagraha, Director of Finance and Strategic Planning at PT Pegadaian, stated that the award reflects global investor confidence in the company's performance fundamentals and transparency.
