Pegasus restaurant celebrates 29 years in Richmond

Pegasus, a Greek-Italian restaurant in Richmond’s West End, has been in operation for 29 years. The establishment is run by chef Michael Hatzimanolis alongside his ex-wife, Anna Hatzimanolis, and their daughter, Ereni, who manages the front of the house and the bar program.

The restaurant maintains a consistent menu featuring dishes such as taramasalata, baked spaghetti, rosemary chicken, and various seafood options. Ereni Hatzimanolis is credited with naming the restaurant and developing the bar menu, which includes the ‘Hot and Dirty’ martini.

Despite the personal changes in the family structure, the Hatzimanolis family continues to operate the business together, emphasizing affordability and consistency for their long-term customer base.
