Peggy Flanagan and Bernie Sanders rally in Minnesota

Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan held rallies in Minneapolis and Duluth as part of her campaign for the U.S. Senate. In Minneapolis, Flanagan joined SEIU International President April Verrett, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and State Senator Omar Fateh for a door-knocking canvass. The event was part of Verrett’s “Money, Power, and Respect” get-out-the-vote tour, which aims to engage millions of voters across several states.

In Duluth, Flanagan was joined by Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders at a rally focused on affordable living, healthcare, and immigration. Flanagan criticized her Republican opponent, Michelle Tafoya, and addressed the high costs of healthcare, gas, and groceries. Sanders emphasized the importance of maintaining access to affordable healthcare. Flanagan also advocated for an immigration system that provides dignity and a pathway to citizenship while maintaining secure borders.
