Peilstein car collision leaves six people injured

A serious two-vehicle collision occurred on Sunday morning at the intersection of Stifterstraße and the B38 federal road in Peilstein, located in the Rohrbach district of Upper Austria.

The accident involved a 74-year-old driver attempting to cross the B38 toward Julbach, which resulted in a collision with a vehicle traveling on the B38. The impact was severe enough to force both cars off the roadway and into a traffic sign.

Six people were affected by the crash. A 47-year-old driver and her 49-year-old husband were transported to the Rohrbach Clinic with injuries of undetermined severity. Four other occupants—a 69-year-old passenger from the first vehicle and two children, aged 14 and 21, from the second vehicle—were also taken to the hospital for medical evaluation. Police are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident.
