Peine Animal Shelter seeks new home for budgerigar pair

A pair of inseparable budgerigars, Frankie and Puschkin, are seeking a new home at the Peine Animal Shelter in Germany. The birds, a seven-year-old dark blue male and a five-year-old light blue female, are looking to be adopted together.

Heike Brakemeier, the director of the Peine Animal Shelter, emphasized that the pair should only be rehomed as a duo. Potential adopters are encouraged to find a living space that allows for regular free flight, which is essential for the well-being of the species.
