Peio Canales named Racing de Santander's best player

Peio Canales has been named the best player for Racing de Santander for the past season, receiving 263 votes. The midfielder, who was on loan from Athletic Club, recorded six goals and nine assists in 35 matches, playing a key role in the team's leadership position.

Additionally, coach José Alberto López was awarded the Chisco de Honor trophy in recognition of his career and for leading the club to promotion to the First Division, ending a 14-year absence from the top category. López has renewed his contract with the club until 2028.
