Pejman Jamshidi lawyer denies sentence execution rumors

Lawyer Kambiz Borjas has denied rumors regarding the execution of a sentence against actor and former footballer Pejman Jamshidi. Borjas stated that while a final verdict has been issued and the Supreme Court has upheld parts of the judgment, the specific claims regarding the execution of a sentence are untrue.

Jamshidi was previously detained following allegations of sexual assault brought by a private complainant. The lawyer clarified that Jamshidi was fully acquitted of the charge of rape. The legal proceedings involved multiple hearings at the Tehran Criminal Court, and Jamshidi was released from prison on bail last year.
