Peleș Castle to host international musical tour honoring Queen Elisabeth

The international musical tour ‘REGINA și COMPOZITORII’ (The Queen and the Composers) will hold its second concert at Peleș Castle in Sinaia on October 17, 2026. The event, organized by the InoMusicArt Association and co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Administration, commemorates the 110th anniversary of the passing of Queen Elisabeth of Romania, who was known by the pseudonym Carmen Sylva.

The concert features soprano Rodica Vică and pianist Kira Frolu, with cultural mediation provided by journalist Bogdan Stănescu. The project aims to revive the musical heritage surrounding the Queen’s poetic works and her connections to the cultural figures of her era. The performance is supported by research from musicologist Cristina Gârbea, which integrates archival materials to provide historical context for the musical pieces performed.
