Pelindo introduces ADHARA digital platform and shifts business model

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), known as Pelindo, has introduced ADHARA, a new digital platform designed to integrate Indonesia's maritime and logistics ecosystem. The platform aims to connect various existing digital systems used by different stakeholders to facilitate smoother information exchange, transactions, and collaboration without replacing individual company systems. ADHARA features four interconnected digital solutions: AdhaOrder, AdhaTrack, AdhaAccess, and AdhaStore, allowing users to manage bookings, payments, and real-time tracking of ships and cargo.

Simultaneously, Danantara is pushing for a strategic shift in Pelindo's business model. Currently operating primarily as a landlord that manages assets and leases port land to third parties, Danantara's Chief Operating Officer, Dony Oskaria, stated that the company is being encouraged to transition into a more active port operator. This transformation aims to strengthen Pelindo's operational role both domestically and, in the long term, potentially managing ports in international markets.
