Lombok prepares for 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia

Preparations are intensifying for the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026, scheduled for October 9–11 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok. The fourth round of the Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series (MRS) was recently held at the circuit, featuring 80 racers across various classes, including the Indonesia Junior Talent Cup U-15, to foster local motorsport talent.

To support the event, Pelita Air has launched promotional activities, including the ‘Lucky Seat in the Air’ program, which will distribute 100 free MotoGP tickets randomly to passengers between September 21 and 30, 2026. Additionally, the airline will host in-flight quizzes for merchandise and tickets.

On the logistics side, hotel occupancy in Lombok has reached nearly 100% ahead of the race. In response, InJourney, ITDC, and MGPA are coordinating to provide 66 additional flights. To address accommodation shortages, InJourney is launching an Official Camping Ground at Kuta Beach Park, The Mandalika, starting October 8, 2026.
