Pella announces application period for 2027 vineyard licenses

The Pella Regional Unit has announced that producers interested in obtaining licenses for new plantings of wine grape varieties can submit applications for the year 2027.

Applications must be submitted electronically through the Ministry of Rural Development and Food website between September 1 and September 20, 2026. To be considered valid, applications must include all required documentation to satisfy eligibility criteria and confirm that no unauthorized grape plantings exist on the applicant's holdings.

Applicants are required to declare the area and the coordinates of the plot corners using the EGSA 87 system, along with the municipal district and local place name. For plots that were partially licensed in previous years, coordinates must correspond to the unlicensed portion of the plot.
