Pelle Larsson signs $60 million extension with Miami Heat
Pelle Larsson has agreed to a four-year, $60 million contract extension with the Miami Heat, which includes a mutual option for the 2030-31 season.
Due to the structure and timing of the deal, Larsson is subject to NBA collective bargaining agreement restrictions that prevent him from being traded during the upcoming season. Under Article VII, Section 8(f)(i), certain veteran extensions that exceed specific limits trigger a six-month trade restriction. This effectively removes Larsson from the Heat’s trade market for the duration of the season.
Larsson, described as a versatile player, previously averaged 11.4 points per game in 26 minutes of play last season. His production increased to 14.8 points when playing extended minutes between 30 and 39 per game.
