Peloponnese to host World Wine Tourism Day at 18 wineries
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, the Peloponnese region in Greece will celebrate World Wine Tourism Day. The event features participation from 18 wineries across the prefectures of Achaia, Elis, Argolis, Arcadia, and Corinth.
Organized by the Union of Winegrowers of the Peloponnese Vineyard (ENOAP) through the Peloponnese Wine Routes, the initiative encourages visitors to explore the region's viticulture. Activities include winery visits, discussions with producers, and tastings designed to highlight how local soil, climate, and grape varieties such as Roditis, Mavrodaphne, Moschofilero, and Agiorgitiko shape the character of the wines.
The celebrations aim to connect wine appreciation with local culture, nature, and gastronomy, offering opportunities to combine vineyard tours with visits to archaeological sites, museums, and local villages.
