Peloponnese tourism expands international outreach in Italy and UK

The Peloponnese Region, through Visit Peloponnese, is expanding its international tourism outreach through strategic meetings in Italy and upcoming professional workshops in the United Kingdom.

In Naples, representatives held over 15 professional meetings during the Choose Greece event. These discussions generated significant interest in new travel programs for 2027, specifically focusing on educational tours. Key historical sites targeted for these itineraries include Ancient Messene, Sparta, Mystras, and Mycenae. Notably, Vivitour Viaggi expressed interest in organizing school trips to these locations, building on their existing programs in Ancient Olympia.

Additionally, Visit Peloponnese has issued an invitation to local municipalities and tourism businesses to participate in a B2B Sales Workshop in London. Scheduled for November 3, the event will take place at Lincoln Plaza during the World Travel Market London. The workshop aims to facilitate direct professional networking and meetings with international buyers in a dedicated environment.
