Peloton launches new treadmill lineup including first foldable model
Peloton has announced a major expansion of its treadmill lineup, headlined by the Tread Flex, the company’s first foldable treadmill and its most affordable model to date. Priced at approximately $2,195, the Tread Flex is designed to save up to 50 percent of floor space by folding vertically, making it more suitable for users with limited living areas. It features a quiet brushless motor and is scheduled for release in North America on October 1, 2026, with international availability expected in 2027.
The new hardware suite also includes the mid-range Tread Vision and the premium Tread+ Vision. These higher-end models incorporate AI-powered features via the Peloton IQ platform, such as movement-tracking cameras that provide running-form analysis and a ‘Running Efficiency Score’. The Tread+ Vision specifically offers a ‘Sled Mode’ for high-resistance strength training.
To support the launch, Peloton is debuting a new advertising campaign, ‘Let Yourself Run’, starring music artist Miley Cyrus. The campaign aims to broaden the company’s reach into the running, walking, and hiking markets as it seeks to rebuild momentum following a post-pandemic decline in hardware sales. The company has increasingly pivoted toward app subscriptions, which now represent nearly 70 percent of its total revenue.
