Pemalang Acting Regent urges BPR BKK Jawa Tengah to boost regional economy

Acting Regent of Pemalang, Nurkholes, has called on PT BPR BKK Jawa Tengah to enhance its performance and increase its contribution to the regional economy. Speaking at the 2026 BPR BKK Jawa Tengah Tamades Lottery event, Nurkholes emphasized that as a regional-owned enterprise (BUMD), the institution holds a strategic role in supporting economic growth through financial services.

Nurkholes urged the bank to strengthen its corporate governance to ensure professional, transparent, and reliable services. He noted that improved performance would benefit both the community and the local government by increasing regional original income (PAD). The event, held in Pemalang, served as an appreciation for customer loyalty and aimed to encourage increased savings among the public.
