Pembe İzler Association hosts Breastanbul awareness event

The Pembe İzler Kadın Kanserleri Derneği (Pink Traces Women's Cancers Association) hosted the 7th annual ‘Breastanbul Meetings’ as part of the Breastanbul 2026 international scientific conference. The event aimed to raise breast cancer awareness, provide moral support to patients, and share the latest medical developments with the public.

The program featured the premiere of ‘Dantel’, an interactive musical play written and directed by actress Özlem Tokaslan. Tokaslan emphasized the importance of women's health awareness, noting that the play explores stories of struggle, including health challenges.

Prof. Dr. Cihan Uras, President of the Breastanbul Conference, noted that the conference attracts over a thousand experts from 62 countries. He highlighted that a distinguishing feature of Breastanbul is the sharing of scientific information with the general public through these community meetings.
