Pembina Pipeline posts Q2 earnings beat and raises dividend

Pembina Pipeline reported second‑quarter adjusted EBITDA of C$1.064 billion, a 5% increase year‑over‑year, and net earnings of C$512 million, up 23% from the prior period. Adjusted earnings rose 10% to C$415 million and total volumes across its pipelines and facilities grew 3% to 3.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. CEO Scott Burrows said the results reflected a "constructive industry environment" and the company reaffirmed its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance of C$4.35‑4.55 billion.

The earnings release showed earnings per share of $0.48, missing consensus estimates of $0.49, and the stock slipped $0.04 to $50.37. Pembina also announced an increased quarterly dividend of $0.735 per share, representing a $2.94 annualized payout and a 5.8% yield, with a payout ratio of 110.94%.

Key operational highlights included higher contracted volumes on the Nipisi Pipeline, increased Cochin Pipeline revenue, and the on‑time startup of the RFS IV fractionator at the Redwater Complex and the Wapiti Expansion in Pembina Gas Infrastructure.
