Pembrokeshire County Council appoints replacement for suspended councillor

Councillor Anji Tinley has been appointed as a short-term replacement for Alan Dennison on the Pembrokeshire County Council planning committee. Dennison is serving a four-month suspension following a breach of the code of conduct.

The suspension stems from a May finding that Dennison failed to declare personal and prejudicial interests regarding a planning application. The investigation revealed significant connections between Dennison and the applicant, including a business directorship at the applicant’s company and a shared holiday in Mexico. An appeal by Dennison to the Adjudication Panel for Wales was unsuccessful.
