Pemex and Tabasco Government begin road rehabilitation in Nacajuca
The Government of Tabasco and Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) have launched the rehabilitation of 10.02 kilometers of road connecting the Villahermosa-Nacajuca highway junction with the town of Oxiacaque in Guatacalca.
The project, executed through Pemex’s Community and Environment Support Program (PACMA), was initiated following citizen requests made during a regional outreach session. The road serves as a vital productive route for the Yokot’an region, facilitating the transport of goods from programs such as ‘Pescando Vida’, ‘Sembrando Vida’, and ‘Crédito Ganadero a la Palabra’.
Governor Javier May Rodríguez and Nacajuca Mayor Roberto Ocaña Leyva noted that the improvements will directly benefit more than 11 communities by supporting local economic activities, including commerce, education, and labor transit.
