Pemex to conduct controlled burn in San Martín Texmelucan

Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) will conduct a controlled burn at the Complejo Petroquímico Independencia in San Martín Texmelucan on Friday, August 28. The exercise is scheduled to take place between 10:30 and 13:30.

The activity is part of training and capacity-building exercises for the facility's firefighter personnel. Authorities have warned that smoke and fire will be visible during this period. The General Coordination of Civil Protection and Risk Management has requested that the public remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information that could cause alarm.
