Petrobras offers 7,000 free professional training spots
Petrobras is offering up to 7,000 vacancies through its Autonomia e Renda program, which provides free professional qualification courses to vulnerable populations living near its operations. Participants receive a monthly stipend of R$ 660, provided they maintain at least 75% attendance. Mothers with children under 12 receive an increased monthly stipend of R$ 858, along with a meal allowance of up to R$ 300.
A new technology axis has been added to the program, focusing on Industry 4.0 topics such as artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing, and low-code development, specifically targeting youth aged 17 to 22.
In a related initiative, a partnership between Senai and Petrobras has already released selection lists for 460 technical course vacancies across São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, and Paraná. This specific cohort saw high demand, with over 1,700 applicants, and includes a waiting list for those not immediately selected.
