Penedo Sabor & Jazz festival celebrates gastronomy and culture

The 3rd Penedo Sabor & Jazz festival is underway in Penedo, Brazil, integrating local gastronomy, music, and culture. The event features a food court at Largo de São Gonçalo, offering specialized dishes from various local restaurants at fixed prices for meals and desserts.

As part of the festival's educational outreach, several culinary workshops have been organized. These include specialized training for municipal school cafeteria workers led by professional chefs to introduce nutritious recipes like beet-based bread and orange cake. Additionally, students from the municipal school network are participating in workshops hosted by Senac, focusing on creative snacks and cupcake decoration to promote healthy eating habits through interactive learning.
