Penghu Chasing Wind Music Festival hosts hip-hop concert

The 2026 Penghu Chasing Wind Music and Light Festival held its fourth concert, titled ‘Sound Wave Tide Night,’ at the Guanyin Temple Park. The event, which coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, drew large crowds of tourists and local residents.

The concert featured performances by hip-hop artists PIZZALI, Gao Erxuan, and the group 9ine. PIZZALI opened the night with tracks such as ‘Millennium Kid’ and ‘Make My First Love.’ This was followed by a collaboration between 9ine member Onion and PIZZALI, and a duet between Gao Erxuan and PIZZALI.

Gao Erxuan performed hits including ‘Circles’ and ‘Without You,’ eventually inviting 9ine member Jian Zhi to the stage. The night concluded with a headline performance by 9ine, featuring songs like ‘Party Hero’ and ‘Hip Hop Village.’ The event ended with a special collaborative performance of ‘In the Next Life’ featuring Gao Erxuan and PIZZALI.
