Penice startup sees waiting list grow to 900 after TV appearance

Following an appearance on the television show ‘Höhle der Löwen’, the startup Penice has seen its waiting list grow to approximately 900 interested individuals. Founder Markus Flagner reported the surge in interest despite the company being rejected by investors during the pitch.

Penice, which produces a care gel for the male intimate area, plans to launch on Amazon in November. The product is expected to be priced at 19.90 euros for 50 milliliters. Flagner noted that he personally built the company website to manage the influx of traffic, reporting that server load remained between 10 and 20 percent during the broadcast.
