Collegiate athletics: Key wins in soccer and field hockey

Various collegiate athletic teams achieved notable results across soccer, field hockey, and rugby.

In field hockey, the top-ranked Tufts University maintained an undefeated 8-0 season with a 2-0 win over Babson College. Penn State also secured a 3-0 victory against Bucknell.

In men's soccer, Boston University defeated Bucknell 5-0 to remain undefeated in Patriot League play. UCLA earned its first Big Ten Conference win with a 4-2 victory over Penn State. Suffolk men's soccer reached an eight-game unbeaten streak following wins against Emmanuel College and Hartford.

In women's soccer, Brandeis University defeated Fitchburg State 3-0, while Dartmouth's women's team secured its fifth consecutive win with a 4-0 shutout against Penn. Additionally, an unnamed women's soccer team secured a 3-1 victory over Amherst.

In rugby, the Dartmouth women's team is scheduled to host American International College following a recent loss to Harvard.
