Penn State football faces backlash after consecutive losses

Penn State football is facing significant criticism from fans following its second consecutive loss, including a three-touchdown defeat against Northwestern. Social media reactions have targeted various figures within the program, including the athletic director, coaching staff, and players, with some fans labeling the current squad as one of the worst in recent history.

In related sports media discourse, Crossing Broad editor Kevin Kinkead addressed regional coverage debates. Kinkead defended the outlet's decision to cover teams with connections to the Philadelphia metropolitan area, such as Penn State, Delaware, and Villanova, despite criticisms regarding their geographic proximity to the city.
