Penn State football players face heavy rain during preseason practice
Penn State football players faced difficult training conditions during a practice held in heavy rain at the Lasch practice fields. Head coach Matt Campbell noted that the challenging weather provided a valuable opportunity to evaluate how players handle adverse conditions they may encounter during games.
Campbell, who is in his first year with the program, emphasized the importance of consistency and excellence as the team integrates a large group of transfers, including 24 players from his former team, Iowa State. The Lions are scheduled for another scrimmage this Saturday as they prepare for their season opener against Marshall in two weeks.
