Penn State pass rush shows improvement ahead of Wisconsin matchup

Penn State’s pass rush is showing signs of improvement as the team prepares for Big Ten play. Through the first three games, the unit has generated 50 total pressures, including five sacks, 12 quarterback hits, and 33 hurries. While the team currently holds the 89th overall graded pass rush, coach Matt Campbell noted that the group has grown, specifically highlighting an improved pressure-to-opportunity ratio in recent performances against Buffalo.

Yvan Kemajou has emerged as the team’s most productive pass rusher, leading the squad with 10 pressures and a 72.0 PFF pass-rush grade.

As the program enters Week 4 against Wisconsin, the matchup serves as a critical benchmark for Matt Campbell. The game is viewed as a defining moment for the program to establish its tone and identity heading into conference play, following a period of recent high-profile losses.
