Penn State wide receivers aim to improve production under new coach

Penn State is looking to improve its wide receiver production for the 2026 season under the leadership of new receiver coach Kashif Moore. The program aims to change a recent narrative of low offensive impact from the position group, following seasons where the receivers struggled to produce significant yardage or receptions in key games.

Moore is focusing on building a new culture within the room, emphasizing hard work and physical presence. The group features Iowa State transfers Chase Sowell and Brett Eskildsen, who are expected to provide veteran leadership and physical play. Sowell, a 6'3" receiver, intends to use his size to create separation and improve his football IQ during fall camp.
