Pennsylvania Health Department Launches Measles Tracking Dashboard Amid Rising Cases
The Oregon Health Authority has identified the emergency department of Randall Children's Hospital in Portland as a recent measles exposure site, urging anyone who visited the ER to watch for symptoms and contact their doctor.
In Pennsylvania, the state Department of Health unveiled an online dashboard that reports county‑by‑county measles case counts, demographic data, hospitalizations and vaccination status. More than 200 cases have been recorded statewide this year, with confirmed infections in Montgomery, Lehigh and Lancaster counties. Health officials, including Secretary of Health Dr. Debra Bogen, emphasized accelerated outreach, contact tracing and the option to vaccinate infants as young as six months. The dashboard will be updated three times weekly to aid providers and the public in monitoring the outbreak.
