Pennsylvania police investigate two separate residential burglaries
Police in Pennsylvania are investigating two separate residential burglaries. In Plymouth Township, 61-year-old Juan Medina was arrested after breaking into a home on the 2900 block of Arch Road. A homeowner and her two young children were inside at the time; the woman and children hid in a bathroom and remained on the line with 911 dispatchers until officers arrived. Medina, who also allegedly stole property from a vehicle, is being held on $50,000 bail.
In a separate incident in the Greenfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, two women reported confronting an intruder in their home on the 900 block of Greenfield Avenue. The women stated they heard a noise downstairs and chased the man out of the house. The suspect reportedly fled on foot with a set of vehicle keys. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
