Penon launches Kintetsu Railway themed travel magnets
Penon Co., Ltd. has announced the release of the Kintetsu series for its ‘Travel Magnet’ product line. The new collection features two specific Kintetsu Railway trains: the ‘Shimakaze’ sightseeing limited express and the ‘Hinotori’ limited express.
The products are designed as three-dimensional art pieces using unique printing technology on Spanish tiles. The development involved railway photographer Yuta Murakami as an advisor, illustrator Nonkimegane, and artisans from the Minatomachi Ceramica Kobo in Onagawa, Miyagi Prefecture, who craft the tiles.
Each magnet is priced at 700 yen (including tax). The series aims to capture the charm of Japanese railways and local landscapes through high-quality craftsmanship and sustainable materials.
